Description

After seeing the new EVE online - Dominion Trailer, I stared at this ship for 20 odd minutes, wandering' why isn't it as popular as the Raven, or any other T2 ship for that matter? So i decided to post a picture of my favorite ship on here, along with the description for it.

Besides the Abaddon of coarse =P

***********************************************

Name: Damnation
Hull: Prophecy
Role: Fleet Command Ship

Command ships are engineered specifically to wreak havoc on a battlefield of many. Sporting advanced command module interfaces, these vessels are more than capable of turning the tide in large engagements. Fleet command ships represent the ultimate in warfare link efficiency; while not packing the punch of their field command counterparts, the boosts they give their comrades in combat make them indispensable assets to any well-rounded fleet.

Developer: Khanid Innovations

In addition to robust electronics systems, the Khanid Kingdom's ships possess advanced armor alloys capable of withstanding a great deal of punishment. Generally eschewing the use of turrets, they tend to gear their vessels more towards close-range missile combat.

Battlecruiser Skill Bonus: 10% bonus to Heavy Assault Missile and Heavy Missile velocity and 5% bonus to all armor resistances per level

Command Ships Skill Bonus: 10% bonus to armor hitpoints and 3% bonus to effectiveness of Armored Warfare Links per level

Role Bonus: 99% reduction in Warfare Link module CPU need. Can use 3 Warfare Link modules simultaneously.

keep in mind that most amarrs train for lazors for all their game-life, wich means that if they get a khanid ship (like this) they'd have to train appropriate missile skills up to t2 heavy/heavy assualt launchers, buy 170mil of ship, buy 30/40mil of fittings (tank and dps) and get a decent amount of missiles supplies for about 4/5mil, rig it (and 40mil go away), insure it and then hoping that it doesn't go pop at the first battle or encounter.

make some calculations:
170mil + 30/40mil + 4/5mil + 40mil + insurance, you go on the same value of a t2/faction fitted raven or of a cheap navy BS.

also, having one means being called primary targets for snpers, dictors, ceptors, marauders & co.

so it's not so profitable after all, unless you use it like the nighthawk: cool looking mission ship for lvl4s and lvl5s, but i don't grant it's effectiviness because i haven't got one xD
